Africa’s population exceeded 1 billion and the continent’s middle class has grown to 350 million, with 200 million people aged between 15 and 24 (the youth bracket) in 2017, Africa has the youngest population in the world.
This means there is a trillion-dollar opportunity to industrialize Africa and to meet rising domestic demand. there has been a big push by governments and the private sector to close infrastructure gaps.
There is a continued resource abundance in agriculture, mining, and oil and gas, with innovation and investment in these sectors unlocking new production on the continent. The rapid adoption of mobile and digital technologies could leapfrog Africa past many obstacles to growth.

Elad Stav is an International business Development Professional, bringing over 20 years of experience working in South Africa, and management positions in the Israeli government- promoting International Trade, innovative technology transfer, project management and capital raising across various industries and Israeli companies.
Served as a Diplomat, Commercial Attaché at the Israeli Embassy in Pretoria, Chief of Staff at the office of the Chief Scientist (Innovation Authority), and later on worked as Country Manager in South Africa- with a multinational projects & Investment Banking group active in Africa, developing complex infrastructure projects in IT, Telecoms, HLS and Energy sectors.
Holds a Master’s degree in Law and Business from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (LLM) and Bachelor degree from Tel Aviv University (LLB), majoring in International Trade, Commercial Law & International Marketing.
